FAAPS are the 'Friends of Amesbury Archer Primary School', which is the PTA for Amesbury Archer School. Our aim is to fundraise for the school and to organise social events, which help the school become a community.

Our fundraising efforts over the past 2 years have helped the school in many ways. We have paid for the coaches for whole school trips, subsidized the author Simon Jones’ visit to the school, bought goal posts for the school playing field and continually raise funds for a trimtrail so all children benefit from the fundraising we do.
How do we raise this money?
Our committee meets every 6 weeks to plan events. We have the traditional Christmas and Summer fayres which are always very popular and raise lots of money. We also hold some adult only events such as the recent Quiz Night and usually run a disco evening for our children at least once a year. In the future we are hoping to run a sponsored event such as a run, walk or obstacle course. We are always looking for new ideas and would welcome any suggestions.
How can you help?
We can’t raise money for the school without the support of families, friends and children of Amesbury Archer Primary School. You can help us by attending events, helping at events and if you feel you have a little more time to spare you could join our committee.
