Welcome to Minerva Class, Year 4, Key Stage 2
Mrs Claire Brooks
Welcome to Minerva Class 2016-2017!
In Minerva class this term, we will be exploring our topic 'Vive la France!' It will weave through lots of other subjects, including conducting research in computing and an artist study of Claude Monet in art.
Homework - Spelling homework is given out on a Monday and should be returned Thursday. Maths is given out on a Friday and should be returned on Tuesday. This gives children a chance for any problems to be discussed on Monday.
PE - please ensure PE kits are in school every day. Trainers are advisable for outdoor PE and tracksuit bottoms in winter. Long hair must be tied back and, if earrings cannot be removed, studs should be worn.
Reading - Children are expected to read at least four times a week (though every day would be even better!). Please ensure you sign their books to say you have heard them read or to note any comments you would like me to see. We will be running a challenge in each class; those who read the required number of times or more (usually 50 per 'old' term) will be entered in a competition to win a prize!
Here is the Calculation Policy if you need to check any methods whilst working on homework!
